About After the Storm

After the Storm was created for couples who are committed to healing—but need guidance, space, and support to do it well.

We believe marriage restoration doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in safe environments, honest conversations, and shared journeys—where couples are guided, not rushed, and supported, not judged.

After the Storm brings couples together in thoughtfully designed settings where reflection, faith, and practical tools meet real-life marriage challenges.

A brief word from our founder on the heart behind After the Storm.

The Heart Behind It

This work was born out of years of pastoral care, counseling conversations, and walking alongside couples through seasons of distance, betrayal, grief, and rebuilding trust.

We saw the same need again and again:
Not quick fixes.
Not surface solutions.
But intentional space for healing—together.

After the Storm exists to create that space.

What We Believe

At the heart of After the Storm is a simple conviction:

  • Healing happens best in community

  • Faith should guide the process, not complicate it

  • Couples deserve structure without pressure

  • Restoration is a journey, not an event

Every retreat, session, and resource is built around these beliefs.

How We Work

Through retreats, guided conversations, and trained facilitators, couples are invited into environments that are:

  • Intimate and respectful

  • Faith-centered and practical

  • Structured yet deeply pastoral

  • Designed for real marriages—not idealized ones

Couples aren’t asked to perform, pretend, or compare.
They are invited to show up honestly and do the work—together.

At Its Core

After the Storm is not about perfection.
It’s about progress.

Whether couples are navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or simply seeking deeper connection, our approach meets them where they are—and helps them move forward with clarity, hope, and renewed commitment.
